Tracy Owen

Tracy was employed as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor from 1984 through 2010.  She was the owner and manager of Owen Rehabilitation Services in Shell Beach, California, where she coordinated and provided vocational rehabilitation services for industrially injured individuals through the workers compensation system.  Prior to that position, she was employed as a Vocational Instructor with Hope Work Activities Center in San Jose, Ca. and as a Social and Facility Director of a Retirement Community in San Jose.

Tracy has a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and a community college teaching credential. In February 2015, Tracy attained her Equine Specialist in Mental Health & Learning Certification through Path International.  Additionally, she has a current CPR/First Aid Certification.

Tracy has been married for 33 years and now resides in the Avila Valley, where she shares her home with her husband, 2 horses, 3 dogs, 1 cat, 4 birds, 4 chickens and 1 desert tortoise. Tracy has two grown children who both reside in California.

Tracy has volunteers who assist her on a regular basis. Her husband, Robert, is a Clinical Psychologist who assists with equine therapy sessions. He has been employed as a Clinical Psychologist for 27 years and has served in the following capacities:  private practice, marital counseling, child custody, and forensic expert testimony.
